Godwin Tom-Lawyer attended the University of Benin, where he obtained an LL.B Hons in 1997, and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
He was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2005; thereafter he proceeded to the University of Wales and obtained an LL.M in 2009. His previous places of employment include Pinheiro & Oguntade (now Pinheiro & Co. and GMO Legal), Alegeh & Co. and Olajide Oyewole & Co.
He similarly had a stint at C5 [formerly Euroforum (UK), EF International and Eurolegal] in London, and several other organizations in the United Kingdom.
Godwin has varied experience in litigation, oil & gas, corporate/commercial practice, labour/employment issues, intellectual property, information technology/e-commerce, telecommunications and tax.
He has advised on several cross-border transactions and compliance with both Nigerian and foreign enactments; he has participated in the drafting of federal and state legislation covering such areas as computer misuse, lottery and management development.
He has attended several conferences and is a regular contributor of legal articles to newspapers, journals and magazines.
Anita Ogege holds an Intermediate LL.B from the University of London, and also attended the University of Benin where she obtained an LL.B Hons in 1995.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996; and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Anita’s previous places of employment include General Oil Limited, Falcons Limited, Ossai Ahmed & Associates (Chartered Secretaries and Tax Consultants) where she was the Legal Adviser.
Her business interests cover several sectors of the economy.
